These fine fabrics are made of 100% organic cotton, handwoven in a small village in India.
They are colored with all natural vegetable dyes in vibrant, saturated color, unusual for organic cotton. Each piece of fabric is hand washed over and over, making the risk of shrinkage minimal. These fabrics have an extraordinary hand, soft and supple, yet they iron to a crisp linen like feel. The prints are created in the ancient Indian tradition of Kalamkari, and are a bit heavier in weight, suitable for light upholstery.
